REBECCA KINKADE'S
PERMANENT ARC TEAM

If you’re interested in signing up to be on my PERMANENT ARC TEAM, you're in the right place. Please note from the jump: If you're only interested in an ARC of my next Streams and Schemes book, you can apply for a one-off ARC in the future. This app is for readers who want to stick with me for the long-haul!

Now, say hey to this cat:

This cat and I have never met, but she seems like a great listener. I bet if you called her to tell her a story where you're clearly the bad guy, she would still nod and say, "Oh fuck that," every time you recounted the annoying things the other person in the story said to you. You can do no wrong in her eyes.

But enough about cats (that's a lie; I WILL be talking about cats at some point in the near future), you're here to learn about my brand new permanent ARC team. And yes—permanent. Forever-ever. As long as I write books, you'll be able to ARC read and review them before release. And speaking of writing books, I have four books coming out over the next two years:

  1. Streams and Schemes #3 (codename: 🎭 and 😬), Essie and Dalton's book - coming Spring 2025.

  2. Book 1 in my new trilogy: A why choose dark romantic comedy with dark academia vibes. Includes a murder mystery, stalking, three MMCs with a very intense friendship (Lander, Everett, and Dalton-style), and an FMC who simply does not have time for their bullshit - coming Winter 2025

  3. Book 2 in the trilogy - coming Spring 2026

  4. Book 3 in the trilogy - coming Winter 2026

P.S. There will be a quiz. Read everything from here on out.

What are the perks of being on my permanent ARC team?

  • No lengthy applications for future ARCs from me! No more submitting all of your review links and information. I’ll keep your info for each release.

  • Guaranteed ARCs of my future books! Sit back, relax, and put the dates on your calendar with confidence.

  • First look at all future character art! Meet Essie and Dalton and the four MCs for my next series before anyone else does.

  • PR mailers with character art, stickers, and other goodies for every release! Get ready for more pink mail!

What are the application requirements?

1. You must submit links to your account at at least one major public review platform from the four following:

  • Amazon

  • Bookbub

  • Goodreads

  • The Storygraph

2. You must submit a link to your public review of Streams and Schemes on one of the sites listed above.

3. You must submit a link to your public review of Tips and Trysts on one of the sites listed above.

Acceptance emails go out: Friday, January 31, 2025

Content Warnings - DO NOT SKIP. If you skip these and complain to me later that you don't want to read about daddy kinks or three best friends railing a girl at the same time, we're literally going to fight each other in the Octagon

To help you decide if my upcoming books would be a good fit, please read the following non-exhaustive list of content warnings/taboo themes from my next four books. If any of the following are NOT your cup of tea, you should not apply. After I finish the Streams and Schemes series, my next three books are dark romcoms; they will naturally be—wait for it—darker.

Content warnings: Alcohol, autopsies, breeding, bribery, bullying, camming, chasing (non-sexy), chasing (sexy), class differences, consensual non-consent, daddy kinks, death of a parent, degradation, dismemberment, dissection of a human corpse, drugs, extortion, finance bros, fisting, free use, group sex, filmed sex, funerals, humiliation, law enforcement, murder, narcissism, paid sex, piercings, polyamory, profanity, public sex/nudity, sex between stepsiblings, sex work, sex AT work, sexism, size difference, size kink, stalking, tattoos, vandalism, white collar crime, why choose (specifically three MMCs who share one FMC)

I'm not kidding. If you are uncomfortable reading anything from the list above, you're not going to enjoy my next books and you're better off just applying for one-off ARCs from me once you have a chance to read the full blurb and content warning list! To prove you've read this, note that the secret word is Halcyon.

FAQs - You better read all of these too. If you don't and you ask me one of these questions, I'm going to send you a fake copy of the final Streams and Schemes book where Dalton and Essie don't end up together and Essie marries some boring dude with an average sized dick who doesn't know what to do with his fingers and you'll NEVER know what Dalton does to her on his coffee table in the real final copy

I've never gotten an ARC from you. Can I still apply?

Yes!

I've gotten ARCs from you before. Do I have to apply for this separately/again?

Yes. This team is brand new, and everyone who wants to join has to apply even if you've gotten ARCs from me before.

What are the requirements for staying on the team?

  • I'll ask you to opt-in or abstain when I have a new book.

  • If you opt in, you're expected to review the book. If life gets in the way, you can skip. You get one skip before we talk about whether ARC reading for me is still something you'd like to do.

  • Your reviews will be due within two weeks of the pub date. I'm actually lenient about this for my current ARC readers, but because this will be a special select team with perks, I'm holding a more solid date.

  • I'll ask you to follow some additional ARC-specific instructions. Example: submit review links.

Can I submit my Instagram or TikTok review of Streams and Schemes and/or Tips and Trysts to fulfill the review requirement on the application?

Nope! I love Instagram and TikTok reviews, but I do need to see static reviews on review sites that future readers will be able to find easily.

Are you going to create a Facebook group or Discord or something for us to connect?

Yes! I'm disbanding my Facebook Street Team group and moving to Discord. You don't have to join Discord, but if you want to hang out with me, that's where I'm going to be. And hanging out with me is fun, I swear. In addition to cats, I also talk about soup and my favorite French fry cuts.

What if I haven't reviewed Streams and Schemes and/or Tips and Trysts, but I've read your other books?

One, you're a sweet angel with glittery pink wings. And two, I need you to read/review Streams and Schemes and Tips and Trysts for this team because the first book I'm going to send is the third book in the Streams and Schemes series. And three, I need you to read these two books because what if I write an orgy scene one day? Then what? Are you just NOT going to know the profound significance of Lander calling Everett a shameless slut just because you've never read these books?!

When will we be notified if we were selected or not?

January 31, 2025. I'll send emails for acceptances and rejections.

How many people will you select?

Great question (my own question, LMAO). I have a team limit I don't plan on exceeding. I suspect I'm going to hit it, so I will not be able to accept everyone who applies, unfortunately. Why? Because this does get time consuming and expensive for me, a one woman show who pays for everything out of pocket and manages all her author work without a PA. Trust, it's a better experience for all of us if I'm not herding a thousand cats (that's you - you're all my cats.)

Will you have open ARC signups for readers who are not on the permanent ARC team?

Yes! For my next releases, I will have a limited number of spots for non-permanent ARC team members.

I love your ARC signup forms. Does this mean you're not going to make them anymore?

You know I will. You know they'll be ridiculous.

I have other questions!

That's great. Asking questions is what sets us apart from primates. You should always ask questions. I don't have a PA, so direct all your questions to me over email (rebecca@rebeccakinkade.com) or on Instagram: @rebeccakinkadeauthor.
